Crithmum maritimum

Crithmum maritimum is an edible, aromatic plant with a strong aroma and flavor, a plant known from antiquity for its healing properties. It is eaten fresh in salads and appetizers adding an unusual flavor, fried in omelets, in fish soups and is an ideal appetizer for raki.
Dried crispy due to its salty taste can become very nice salty seasoning.
